Josh grew up in the small coastal town of Portland in country Victoria. He first received chiropractic care when he was 8 years old and quickly developed a keen interest in all things health and well-being. Being an avid AFL player, he quickly understood the importance of maintaining a healthy and functioning body. Due to the constant stress sport put on his body, he often needed care for injury prevention and rehabilitation. He saw the affect chiropractic played in assisting his athletic career. After studying for five years at RMIT, he completed his chiropractic course and gained registration to begin practice.

Soon after graduating, Josh moved up north to Cairns and has loved servicing the community for the last seven years. After completing further seminars and training, he enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions. From sports rehabilitation to pregnancy care, he creates a personalised approach to treatment and wellbeing. Josh often stresses the importance of educating his clients on how Chiropractic can assist them in their health journey and explaining every part of the adjustment process. His goal is for every client to achieve longevity in their pursuance to a functioning and healthy spine, to enable them to do the things they love. Dr. Hamish McGeorge is a highly skilled chiropractor at Balance Chiropractic, bringing years of experience and a passion for holistic health care. Originally from Tauranga, New Zealand, Hamish has practiced chiropractic across Australia before making his home in the beautiful Far North.
An avid sports enthusiast, Hamish has a special love for hockey, having represented New Zealand in his youth. In his free time, you'll often find him running, playing golf, or surfing, embracing an active lifestyle that complements his professional ethos.

Tyler grew up in Melbourne and developed a passion for health and wellness early on. She completed her chiropractic studies at CQUniversity in Brisbane before gaining valuable experience working on the Sunshine Coast and in rural QLD/NSW.
As an advanced certified SOT practitioner, Tyler is passionate about educating both her patients and fellow chiropractors, regularly teaching at seminars to further the profession.
Now calling Cairns home, she loves staying active at the gym, relaxing at the beach, exploring the Sunday markets, and soaking up the sunshine. And, of course, as an AFL fan, you’ll often find her watching the footy!

With a strong focus on women’s health, Tyler has completed postgraduate studies in hormonal health, including endometriosis, PCOS, and menopause. She has also worked extensively with babies, families, and individuals of all ages, helping them achieve optimal well-being through chiropractic care. While she has a special interest in women’s health, she welcomes patients of all ages and backgrounds, providing personalized care to support each individual’s health journey.

Ashleigh is our dedicated Practice Manager, bringing extensive experience in operations and management to our team. Her exceptional organisational skills and strategic approach ensure the smooth and efficient running of our practice, allowing us to provide the highest level of care to our clients.
Ashleigh's background in Operations, Administration and Team Management equips her with the expertise needed to oversee the day-to-day functions of our clinic, from administrative tasks to patient coordination. Her commitment to excellence and attention to detail create a welcoming and supportive environment for both our team and our clients.
In her free time, Ashleigh enjoys staying active with Pilates, which helps her maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. She is also a devoted cat owner and loves spending time with her rescue, Willow.
